Rapper PAPOOSE has confirmed rumours he has splice his incarcerated girlfriend REMY MA.
The pair was last alleged to be making plans to exchange nuptials at New York's Rikers Island jail in May (08), while Remy was awaiting sentencing for her portion in a July (07) shooting.
However, reports claimed the hymeneals were called off at the last-place minute later Papoose attempted to break his fiancee out of prison - allegations he refuted.
Remy was sentenced days later to octonary years behind bars, later on she was found hangdog of shooting Makeda Barnes Joseph external a New York club last summertime (07).
Now Papoose, real name Shamele Mackie, has confirmed they are a married couple - although he is refusing to divulge further information around when and where the ceremony took place.
When asked by XXL magazine if they have forthwith wed, he replies, "Yep, that's all I'm gonna say."
And he insists their initial plans for a marriage ceremony were not intended to soften Remy's 'gangsta' range of a function in time for her sentencing.
He adds, "Actually, that has nothing to do with the casing, that was just the date."
